On March 3rd, we celebrate Girl's Day! Per my family's tradition, my grandparents would take out their collection of Japanese dolls and set them out with mochi (likely chi chi dango, a sweet variety with milk and sugar), candies (most often, compeito - my personal favorite!), and sweet puffed rice snacks.
You may not recognize this character, Komachi, as she hasn't been featured in a comic since Chapter 10. ^_^ This time of year, out of any, is probably the most appropriate time for a comeback.

Think of Girl's Day like Mother's Day or Grandparents' Day - not really an event, but there are some things you just do traditionally. It's mostly about bringing out the Japanese heirloom dolls and leave candy offerings -- which the kids usually eat. XD
