Not sure if this is something specific to Japanese or just Asian families, but every March 3rd, we celebrate Girl's Day here in Hawaii.
My grandparents used to bring out their collection of dolls and set out some candy offerings of mochi, compeito, and sweetened puffed rice. I kinda miss those days! :3

Events - March 2012
March is finally here, and that means in a couple weeks from today -- KAWAII KON.
Kawaii Kon is typically the biggest show we prep for (locally, at least) and we try to debut our biggest and best things. This year, all efforts went into printing our next book!
We're expecting them to arrive the week of the show, so we're doing a huge amount of prep to get all pre-orders ready. Can't wait to see them~!
Pre-order your copy today~!
If you missed it our latest Blue Hawaii comic printed in the Honolulu Star Advertiser on February 26th!
